Aiming for the scientific understanding of the charge transport mechanism inside organic semiconductors, I focus on photoelectron spectroscopic techniques, such as XPS, UPS, IPES, ARUPS. Employing these, I aim to determine the electronic band structure of molecular single crystals as well as the energy level alignment between the different components of an organic electronic device.
