DESIGN AND SYNTHESIS OF MOLECULAR SEMICONDUCTORS ADAPTED TO COUPLE WITH THE VACUUM FIELD
Supervisor: Prof. Y. Geerts (ULB) I Secondment 1: University of Strasbourg I Secondment 2: BASF S.E.
My work in UHMob
The coupling with vacuum field is a totally new concept in the field of molecular semiconductors that has recently been demonstrated for some chromophores. The concept needs now to be extended to other class of strongly absorbing p- and n-type semiconductors. Optimized materials will enable to reach higher charge carrier mobility but will also enable a deeper understanding of the physics of transport at both experimental and theoretical levels.
after UHMob
I will go for further opportunities to join as a post doc with Yves or any other group in the same field and would like to work upon with some more interdisciplinary topics.
About Me
I am from India. I belong to the quintessential land of maharajas and medieval forts, palaces and tigers, and kaleidoscopic festivals called Rajasthan. I did my elementary education from Uttar Pradesh and then move on to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh to obtain BS-MS dual degree from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER-B) , one of the prestigious institute of India in the field of research.
